7 Best Natural Amazing Beach Photography HDR pictures

This is the best collection of Andy beal  photos from his January trip to Hawaii. He kept it until last because it may possibly be his favorite photo of the trip. The sunset, the crashing waves, the reflection, and the ripple in the tidepool give this shot lots of focal points–maybe even too many! . Thank you all for your kind comments over the past few weeks.  He head back to Hawaii (Kauai) in 4 weeks and he look forward to testing out his new D90.  thanks for him..

Piering into Paradise

The next time someone tells me to “take a long walk off a short pier,” I hope it’s this pier!

Auckland Skyline

Just back from a 3 week trip to New Zealand (and a couple of days in Sydney).
While I go through and edit my pics, I thought I’d share this Auckland HDR taken from Rangitoto island.

HDR worked great for this shot. I was able to bring out the detail in the pools and the rocks without blowing-out the sky or sand.

I have to admit, I blatantly stole this idea from the amazing caption my wife came-up with for this post: www.govisithawaii.com/2009/12/16/and-stop-for-hammock-time/
Of course, we both stole it from MC Hammer, but I’m sure he’d appreciate some hammock time in Kauai. 😉

Na Pali Coast HDR

Na Pali Coast HDR

This is one of my favorite HDR shots from our hike of the Kalalau Trail.

How tough is the hike? Well, it’s muddy, rocky, and very slippery. It took us 4.5 hours for around 4 miles of hiking!
Still, it’s worth every sprain, bruise, and mosquito bite! 🙂
